Have Google And Yahoo Left You High And Dry With Your Online Entertainment?

When Searching for your Online Entertainment, Google, Yahoo, MSN and all the top engines give you their 'sponsored links' first. These links are simply websites who are willing to pay Google, Yahoo, MSN and all the others money upfront just to lead you to their websites in hopes of getting you to buy their product or service. So who is there to protect you the consumer when looking for music downloads or any other source of your online entertainment?

Now I'm not going to bash Google and Yahoo and all the other search engines here as they do their best everyday to provide you the best content on what your searching for, however it does pose the question, how are you to know that a scammer with a little money to burn isn't using this technique of sponsored links just to lure you into their trap? With a smooth sales pitch and a professional looking website, we are duped into believing its legit. And so are Google, Yahoo and all the other top search engines. After all it's a pretty daunting task to check out the validity of the millions of websites that pay out to be among the top listed, and these search engines are a business after all.


The main thing that I noticed is that unlike business opportunities and of course home based business opportunities that have professional review sites available to you, the online entertainment industry does not seem to have one. Essentially I myself became aware of how difficult it was to find the best of the internet for music, video games, movies, and even TV and books for that matter. I spent hours online searching for any one in particular and of course found alot of options in these sponsored link areas of the search engines. After trying several and being lied to about what I was buying, I realized that a review site for these download sites needed to become a reality as well so that no one else would have to be scammed like I was and like so many others are as well.

The internet is a massive and beautiful thing and it has indeed forever changed the ways we receive our news, information, and entertainment. It can also be a place of confusion and even dishonesty as anyone has the ability to put up a website with a little time and money so we simply need to be cautious. The top search engine are not on the lookout for us everyday they are simply reporting the request for more information on what we ask. So be specific when looking for what you want and perhaps even look below the 'sponsored links' on the search pages and do a little extra research for yourself as it will pay off for you everytime.
