Have The Right Tools For Promoting Your Affiliate Product
We often talk about the need to have good conversion on the sales page and having a quality product, in order to have success in affiliate marketing.
One factor that is sometimes overlooked but is equally important is making sure that your affiliate product has the correct tools for promotion.
This is what actually makes your job easier!
You’re going to want to have access to:
• Pre-written solo ads. Solo ads have always been traditionally effective in e-zines. Find the e-zines that you find to be responsive, and put your solo ads there.
• Ad banners to put on your site. You’re going to want to make the most of the traffic that you’re going to be receiving, so make sure you have these banners available to visitors.
• Product images to display on your site. A lot of people like to visually see things, so having product images available will help you. This can be especially useful if you’re doing things, like product reviews on your blog or site. You insert the images in your article and then you hyperlink the images with your affiliate link.
• Pay-per click ads. If you’re unsure of what would make an appealing pay-per click ad, you can always use the one given to you with your affiliate product. Pay per clicks can make for an effective form of advertising, because you’re pulling subscribers from an unlimited pool of leads!
• Other sales materials that have been shown to work, such as articles to be loaded up as follow ups in your autoresponder.
In addition to these things, it would be extremely helpful if you’re provided with:
• The list of targeted keywords for your product. This will help you so you know what keywords to use when your search engine optimizing your articles and when you’re bidding on keywords for your pay per click campaigns.
• Product datafeeds. These act like a virtual “storefront” you can use to sell products. Having these datafeeds will increase your profitability.
