But if there's any one make which best represents everything that Heartland stands for, it would be Elkridge. This luxury fifth wheel is a big animal, much as the Elk it is named after. It also helps that the company is based in Elkhart, Indiana. The space and luxury offered by the Elkridge is unmatched, with a cherry decor and high-end fabrics, quad slide layouts and leather recliners. As for the toy haulers, Heartland has two choices - Cyclone and the Road Warrior. These are not just half living area, half garage type RV's. The garage area in both models is a high-tech zone with features like recessed beavertail storage bins to maximize storage space. Cyclone even has convertible electric beds/seating and a removable table, along with a diamond plated tool box. The point is to allow for the garage to be used for other things in addition to storing toys. Throw in all the unique residential and vehicle-related innovations found in every Heartland RV, and it's safe to say that these toy haulers are a cut above the rest. The company has plenty more models of luxury and mid-level fifth wheels, and then there are also many types and models of trailers. But these features mentioned above are enough to hammer in the point that a Heartland RV is an entirely different breed.
