By Sam D. Mann

Getting set up correctly

Every day, there are hundreds or perhaps thousands of people from all over of the globe that decide that they would like to try their hand at earning wealth on the internet.

Several of these persons will be doing well but the vast majority will not, and one of the major differences between the two groups is that the persons who are doing well, work to a map, and are apt to be very well organized as well.

One additional thing that they all do without fail is trail all of the info which they can get a hold of about their website visitors, since that is the information that allows them to tweak and finesse their marketing efforts so that they grow to be ever more successful.

Perchance you have never considered this, other than any time you go to a web site, you leave behind a very substantial amount of info as regards your visit on that website when you leave.

If you have your own web page, you can test this for yourself by looking at any inbuilt stats programs that your webhost included in your account package.

Continuing from PART 2...

Vital note about KEYWORDS
If you have a top three or four keyword variations that people seek for, you most certainly would like to have one page of your site optimized for one term, and another for the second, etc.. When you do this make sure the keywords, title and description in the meta tags match the page as well!!

The internal links on your web page and the way you link them.
Internal links are completely within your jurisdiction. When you link to one of your pages and use a keyword as anchor text, the bots believe you know what you are talking about, as long as the destination page looks to be applicable to the keyword phrase. When it is, the robots take note. And with any luck, you begin to rank for that term.

Content Counts
The simple rule of thumb is that content counts, and that the content which is placed near the top of a page counts far more than content found at the end. In particular. The HTML title and the first couple lines of text are the most important part of your pages. If the words and phrases that match a query happen to appear in the HTML title or first couple lines of text of one of your pages, chances are very good that that page will appear high in the list of search results.

You may presume your visitor wants what you're offering. Maybe they are, but in the first instance, they may be more likely interested in finding information about what they want. In other words, they are looking for information, and that is what Google and the other search engines want you to be sharing.

The searcher has questions and they may not even be quite skilled to communicate them. You must endeavor to satisfy those questions on your site, in your content.

Tip #5.
Improve your link building. Link to high PR websites. Quality of relevant links is far more important than quantity. Links will greatly improve your site's visibility, popularity and ranking. Search engines consider links as votes to your site.

At this point we have covered the major factors that matter to the search engines. These are all within your control. Taking care to set them up properly will make a substantial difference to how well your web page ranks.

Tip #6.
If your site contains dynamic pages (i.e., the URL contains a "?" character), make sure you use SEO friendly URLs. Search engine spiders have difficulty indexing dynamic pages.

Bear this in mind: Creating a dominant and effective homepage around meticulously defined keywords and key phrases is a sure way you can drive targeted traffic to your web site and keep them there once you do.

To make your website even more visible, it is essential that you take advantage of what are called OFF PAGE factors. Some experts in the field consider Off-Page Factors to be three times as effective as ON Page Factors. But don't be blind-sided. If you have not taken care to optimize your ON Page factors, the off page techniques will not work as well as they should.

Tip #7.
Maximum links per page must be fewer than 100. Avoid the risk of being flagged as a link farm by search engines. The Google crawler will not recognize text hidden in the images, so when describing important names, keywords or links; stick with plain text.

When you follow the straightforward tips laid out above, will definitely boost your traffic and search engine rankings for FREE.
