Holidays In The Credit Crunch

The cost of a holiday abroad really does add up. Not only is there the initial price of the hotel and flights but you also need to consider the cost of new clothes, spending money, travel insurance, airport parking and toiletries. It’s no wonder the number of holidays abroad have dropped.

To find a bargain break holiday makers need to be savvier when searching for deals. Choosing an all inclusive holiday it a good way to cut costs as is paying extra attention to exchange rates and perhaps choosing a destination outside the Euro zone.

Many people are also choosing to stay in the UK for their annual holiday and although we may not have the climate of the Mediterranean the UK is full of sights and attractions from the busy streets of London to the beautiful beaches of Cornwall. You also don’t need to worry about flight costs and airport parking, just the cost to fill your car with petrol and you’re on your way. Travel insurance is also cheaper for destinations in the UK and you could save a fortune on toiletries as you probably won’t need to buy as much sun tan lotion!
