Holly Valance Gets Engaged Over Festive Period
Last week, the 28-year-old singer, actress and contestant on this year's Strictly Come Dancing TV show, was whisked off to the Maldives; a popular spot for destination weddings and honeymoons. The 38-year-old billionaire property developer proposed to Holly on a white sand beach with the words "Will you marry me" written in fire. Shortly after, Holly posted a picture of Nick's proposal on Twitter and wrote: "And I said YES!!! ? Happiest day of my life!!!!! Xxxx." The couple have been dating for two years after they were introduced at a mutual friend's dinner party. In a recent interview Holly spoke about their relationship. She said: "Nick's got to be the funniest person I've ever met in my life - he's hysterical. We're like two kids running around London all the time, giggling in the back of taxis. I do love being around him. We're great mates. "When we first met, I didn't know anything about him. I just thought ‘Cor, if I didn't fancy you so much, we'd be the best of friends. Instead, I just want to make out with you all the time'."
