Home Remedy For Wrinkles – Here’s 7 Questions And Answers That May Surprise You About Home Remedies

A home remedy for wrinkles is something many people search for. It conjures up images of Grandma’s kitchen, oatmeal and Grandma telling you about her favorite homemade wrinkle smoother. Never mind that Grandma has many wrinkles of her own. So, is there a home remedy for wrinkles or a homemade wrinkle smoother that works? Here are 7 questions and answers that may surprise you.

Question #1- Is there a home remedy for wrinkles that really works?

Answer – The short answer is yes however, they are very short term fixes, not lasting more than a few hours. Soaking your face in ice cold water in the morning (or anytime really) will reduce some fine lines and wrinkles for a short period of time as this will reduce swelling. This in essence pulls your skin tight and is kind of like a mini face lift. The effects of this don’t last very long.

Several other remedies include placing various food items on your face such as cucumbers, kiwi, or egg whites under your eyes. All these things can help reduce the wrinkles for a short period of time but not one was found to give lasting results.

Question #2 – Why are the effects of home remedies only short term?

Answer – Great question! Home remedies don’t give long lasting results because of the inability of the ingredients used to penetrate deep into the layers of the skin where the real repair work needs to begin.

Question #3- Isn’t a home remedy cheaper than skincare products?

Answer – When you figure the cost of constantly buying various food items and other things that are necessary to make a home remedy along with the time it takes, you most likely are spending more money than the cost of some skincare products that do a great job.

Question # 4 – Are home remedies safe to use?

Answer – For the most part most home remedies won’t cause you any long or short term problems unless you pour hot oatmeal or smashed blueberries on your face (which could leave an embarrassing stain). I will say there are some skincare products that are using some pretty scary chemical ingredients mixed in with their so called natural ingredients.

Question # 5- What are some of the scary chemicals ingredients to avoid?

Answer – Many of these chemicals are most likely found in products you are currently using. Go get a skincare product you are using right now (I’ll wait for you) and see if any of these ingredients are listed; Alcohol in any form, fragrance, parabens and mineral oils. Most of these ingredients are known to cause cancer or birth defects.

Question #6 – Is there anything that really works and safe to use?

Answer - Skincare has come along way in the last few years and there are some skincare products that produce dramatic wrinkle reducing effects and in many cases wrinkle removing results. These same products contain natural ingredients that are so safe you could eat them and they contain absolutely no harmful chemicals.

Question #7 – Where do I find companies using these ingredients?

Answer – Currently there is only one company that I know using such ingredients. It’s a small New Zealand Skincare company that only sells their products worldwide online. They don’t advertise to keep their product costs low, and prefer to save their advertising cost by putting that money into developing products that get safe, fast results. Many Hollywood stars buy from them.

With a little effort they can easily be located and the results you get will be better than any home remedy for wrinkles or any homemade wrinkle smoother you can make.
