Homeschooling field trips are great for children as well as the entire family. There are so many great places to go, many of which you may have never considered before. Trips are more than just a reason to get out of the house. They offer ample opportunity for continued education and socialization as well.

Benefits of homeschooling field trips:

- trips can reinforce lessons learned at home
- outings and get-togethers are a wonderful opportunity for socialization
- lessons can continue after the field trip with discussion and/or projects about the trip
- they're an opportunity for students to ask questions and gather information about new things they experience

- is the location wheelchair/stroller accessible?
- weather conditions/season
- do you need to take food/snacks?
- how you're getting there
- is it an overnight trip? Will you need a hotel?
