Wouldn't you like to know that after a hard day at work you had a place that you could count on to relieve you from the stress of the work environment? An environment that had nothing else to offer you but peace, comfort, and relaxation. An environment that was free of dirt, germs, and bacteria. An environment that is clean, hygienic, and clutter-free. Now try and imagine all of that and more. And know this place as your home.
This is essentially the living environment that we can all have and share with our families. What’s important here is that with a little house cleaning and maintenance we can all prosper and begin to enjoy the benefits of a clean home. When our homes are well maintained and organized, our lives tend to feel the same way and we begin to open new doors to happiness. The benefits far outweigh the initial work required, and it’s really not that bad. With consistent practice of proper house cleaning it eventually becomes like second nature, and the initial challenge of staying consistent fades away.
As I said previously, the benefits far outweigh the initial work required; what’s best of all is that the benefits are long term. What are some of these benefits? For one, a clean home will automatically reduce stress in your life. Many people strain themselves night and day over house cleaning and worry about when it needs to be done, not being able to do it, and can often be totally overwhelmed and feel helpless when making the attempt. If house cleaning brings any stress into your life, it’s time for an alternative approach to get rid of that stress. This can most certainly be done, and it’s actually very easy to do.
House cleaning is also beneficial towards our general health. When our houses are not maintained and cleaned often, the germs, and bacteria, if not taken care of properly, can accumulate to the point that they create sickness. Our body’s natural immune systems can only tolerate so much. If we let the germs and bacteria get out of hand, then not only our health, but our family’s health will be at risk. When we take care of and maintain a clean home this ensures long term good health for ourselves and family to enjoy.
One of the major road blocks when it comes to house cleaning is Clutter. Clutter organization is actually very important to know about and greatly beneficial for our family’s well-being. In the UK approximately three million household related accidents are reported every year, and this is all due to house clutter. Falls are the number one accident reported most frequently and it’s due to too many items and objects lying around the floor, or in the way of high traffic areas in a household. I know I won’t be the first to admit that I’ve almost fallen down the stairs stumbling over random items that just happen to be lying around. I also can’t tell you enough how clear my life feels, now that I am on house clutter like a cat is on a mouse. Clutter organization not only helps to make our home and our lives feel clearer and organized, but it can potentially prevent your family or ourselves from serious injury.
Another benefit to house cleaning and maintaining a clean home is the subtle attraction that it brings of other people’s interest. Many people strive for cleaning efficiency and they want to know how they can do it as well. Often times I will have family and friends asking me how they can have and maintain a clean home themselves. It’s such a wonderful feeling to be able to provide and help other people who are striving for the same goals and to watch their lives prosper with some simple advice. Not only will you have the benefit of being able to help others, but you will also have the benefit of having a home that friends, family, and even romances will be able to enjoy. I know that bringing people into my home used to be something that I dreaded for fear of embarrassment – now that fear is long gone!
I could go on and on about the benefits a clean home can provide for you, but I’m sure the point has come across. The well-being of our family, the well-being of our own lives in its many aspects, and the drastic improvements that can be made for us all, outweigh the initial work required to maintain a clean home. Through consistency and a little bit of work we can all have our lives improved in many, many ways. I will tell you that the benefits are well worth it, and when you have long term benefits like these you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
