This is especially true if the individual would like to maintain a certain level of support.

A majority of people should more greatly consider the other relative components of their footwear, however. It is also necessary to consider that the heavier the runner, the more cushioning they will probably need. Also, the bigger the foot is, the greater the amount of material needed to make the shoe and the heavier it will be.

The suitable weight of running shoes is pertinent only in the difference between racing flats and trainers for the most part. The discrepancies of different scales and variations between makes and models, makes it nearly impossible to accurately determine lightness. But, if a person is considering to switching to a lighter weight shoe, they should be wary of doing it too quickly. It is important to make the transition slowly so that the legs and feet have time to adjust and an individual does not injure themselves.
