How Do I Cook Ribs In The Oven
This should start by purchasing the adequate amount of ribs and when doing this you should keep in mind that ribs have more bone and fat. When purchasing these ribs you may want to double or even triple the pounds that you usually get for the other ordinary meats. If you do not cook these ribs with other dishes or side dishes, a person can eat about a pound of ribs. The next step will be to season the ribs in order to give them a delicious as well as unique flavor. There are several seasonings that you can use to make the ribs rich in flavor. The basic seasoning is sprinkling garlic, salt, pepper as well as meat tenderizer on the ribs. You can also use several other spices as well as herbs that can include turmeric, oregano, paprika, rosemary, parsley and many others. You can also choose to add cheese depending on your taste. You can also marinade the ribs instead of seasoning them and this can be done using commercially prepared marinades as this helps the meat tenderize as well as give it moisture. There are several marinades that you can use you can even consider using salad dressings such as teriyaki or barbecue marinade among many others. After you have finished marinating or seasoning the ribs it is time to place the ribs in a baking pan and make sure you have heavy duty aluminum foil to cover the pan. The foil is supposed to be large enough in that it can fold back and close the ribs inside the foil. Excess foil should be left along the edges. The ribs should then be placed in the aluminum foil covered pan. You should then pour a quarter inch of water into the pan as this will help the meat maintain the moisture. This also protects the pan as well as the foil from getting scorched. You can also add some vegetables to be cooked along with your meat and this can include carrots, potatoes or onions in big chunks that should surround the ribs. You should then cover the ribs with remaining edges of the aluminum foil and this will appear as if you are creating a tent. It is important to ensure that the foil does not press onto the meat during cooking. You should then preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Put in the ribs and cook for about an hour and after this you should open the foil and then put the ribs back in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit to cook for an additional 15 minutes. The ribs will now be ready to serve. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com This article touched the basics of the topic. I have 2 more resources related to the above.
