Life is never moves consistently. There are times when you are happy and there are times when you are flung to the depths of sadness. At times you feel like the monarch of the world, and at other times, you feel like you are just being thrown around.
It's very well to remain motivated when life is just the way you want it and good things are coming your way. However, in times when your world is topsy-turvy, you do tend to get de-motivated. It's in your best interest to fight this lack of motivation and spring back in life with a bounce.
Why People Feel De-motivated
There are many reasons why you would begin to feel lack of motivation. Some of these are mentioned below.

• You are scared of trying anything new because of past failures
• Low self esteem
• You pay too much attention to what they have to say
• You keep procrastinating the work and do not achieve any results
• There aren't enough incentives to excite you
• Lack of time to do something
How De-motivation is Harmful
De-motivation is never a good thing. Not only does it prevent you from completing the task at hand, but also stops you from achieving great things in your life. De-motivation can throw you into the quick sand of self pity and despair, which will only make you more miserable and less productive.
Apart from affecting you personally, it can also affect your job and the people around you. Your performance at work can suffer and people around you might not be able to cope with this negativity and de-motivation that you are exhibiting.
Finding Motivation Again
In order to be motivated towards a certain task, evaluate your reasons for doing it. For instance, you've been trying to lose weight for a while and you seemed to have reached a plateau. Sit back and think why it is important for you to lose weight. How will it make you feel? What will it help you achieve? Make a list of these reasons on a piece of paper and keep it in front of you. Next time you feel lack of motivation, you can look at these reasons, and really take your life by storm.
