How Does Electrolysis Hair Removal Work?

Electrolysis hair removal is the one and only method of permanent hair removal that has been approved by the FDA. The basic method behind the hair removal process is rather simple. It involves an electric current being passed through a fine tip point into the pore of each hair. This kills the hair and ensures that it will never grow back.

However, the process does have a few downsides to it. One of the biggest problems with having this procedure done is that it typically requires several sessions. This is because not all hair is in the same stage. You need the hair to be in the correct stage to have it removed through this procedure. However, it does have the best track record of all other hair removal programs. It has been shown to remove hair for the longest period of time and remove the most hair on a person.

Price can be one of the factors that discourages people from undergoing the procedure. Not only can the procedure cost quite a bit of money, it takes time as well. A 30 minute session, which may have to be repeated three to five times depending on your hair level, can cost around $50. That means for one area of your body it can be between $150 to $250 to remove the hair permanently. The cost is high upfront, however, if you consider the time savings as well as savings in shaving supplies, the treatment is really well worth it!
