If your lover was to wear a sexy costume in the attempts to seduce you, then would you feel that you were making love to a stranger or would you have no feeling one way or the other concerning what they were wearing?
Would it be considered adultery since you feel that you would be making love to a stranger? Can these fantasies of role playing be healthy? There are some women that will not wear any type of sexy costume, because they do not want their significant other to think of some one else when they are making love with one another. Granted, that if you are role playing and pretending to be some one else and that the costume you choose to wear can transform your appearance enough, then perhaps there may be cause for some type of concern.
Think about it though, is your special some one not suppose to love you and only you? Now, the next question is why do they need to pretend that they are some one else other than who they are? In a perfect world, then sure. Love and sex are a lot like chocolate and peanut better, because they are both good by themselves, but when they are mixed together, then that is when they are at their best.
It is true that you can love without sex and that you can have sex without love, but when you have sex with some one that you love, then that is when it is best. Humans are not always monogamous, but there are animals throughout the animal kingdom that are known to be non monogamous. It is truly natural for us to cheat and monogamy is some thing that we have to constantly work at.
There have been a number of recent studies done that have proven that many animals and birds such as eagles, geese, beavers, and gibbons were previously believed to have been faithfully monogamous, but in fact they were not. In fact, there are creatures that have chosen a single mate for life, even though they continue to mate or fool around with others. We can only assume that infidelity is most often committed by males.
Male animals such as apes and lions tend to have harems. Mankind has had harems in their past as well. Men that have multiple lovers have been an acceptable practice among many cultures. However, there have been studies completely on the wild kingdom, which have shown that most often it is the female that takes multiple mates. The reason is that they just tend to be a little craftier at it. This is a survival method used by the female to insure that at least some of her off spring are from a quality male, while providing security for herself and her brood.
As humans, we do not need this tactic to insure our survival. Males tend to be opportunistic and will have sex out of marriage simply because it is available and it is so pleasurable. For women it is a way of obtaining some thing better than their mate, some one who may be richer, more handsome, or more powerful. It is not their purpose, nor mine, to condone infidelity, because as humans we can overcome pure carnal animal behaviors.
