How I Got My Business To Google Page 1 Without Lifting A Finger

There can’t really be any online businesses who don’t understand the power of the Google page 1 position. Getting to the top of Google’s search results pages is critical in order to ensure a high profile is maintained. Without such a strategic position, businesses will be missing out on the vast majority of potential sales, and with over 70% of the western world searching using Google, getting to the top of that particular search behemoth is crucial.

As anyone who uses Google knows, even the simplest search will often produce millions of results. A search for ‘Google page 1’ currently brings up 558 million results - that’s over half a billion websites all competing! Yet the truth is that 90% of people searching online never look past the first two pages of results. Just think - out of the 55 million pages of results, only 2 pages will ever be seen by the overwhelming majority of potential customers. That means only 0.0000003% of relevant companies are being found.

The problem with getting a website business to a Google page 1 position is that it takes time, and effort. It also requires a great deal of expert knowledge and experience, and as a busy business owner I simply don’t have the time or experience to effectively market my website using current optimization strategies. I have spent time trying to get to grips with which methods work, but I am too busy running my business to market it as well.

I decided that the best strategy of all was to find someone who knows what they’re talking about, and can demonstrate proven results. I came across a guy who was actually recommended to me by someone who’d dealt with him before. Recommendations count for a good deal in my book. The guy seemed extremely knowledgeable, but didn’t try to blind me with science. I don’t like those SEO companies that try to bamboozle you with acronyms.

Fortunately the guy I approached was both knowledgeable and understanding, and recommended a two-fold approach that combined natural, organic optimization methods as well as the pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns too. I was certainly impressed with his style and approach, and once he’d ascertained the information he needed about me, my company and my aims, he got his team to work straight away.

I was very impressed right from the start, and as he’d been recommended by someone else whose business is now happily enjoying the view from Google page 1, I was happy to go along with his recommendations. But perhaps what really clinched it for me was his price. He didn’t want a penny in payment until he’d demonstrated results. His fees are held back in three lots, only payable once the results he’s promised are realised. Now that’s the sort of confidence and company I like!

I have to say that my faith in online marketing and website optimization strategies has been completely uplifted. The guy came through for me - and then some. I've worked out the benefits, and can honestly say that the sales coming in through having my site listed on Google page 1 are bringing in ten times what I paid the guy to get me there. In a very short space of time he had my site rocketing up the results pages, and at first I almost struggled with the volume of sales coming in!

Having seen some dodgy SEO companies that are simply in it for the money, with no real guarantee of long term results, it can be a hard task to identify suitable companies. But now that my own website business is happily enjoying its Google page 1 position, I’m more than happy to recommend an SEO company that only gets paid by results. In all honesty - what have you got to lose, expect perhaps those empty boring days when you have no sales to process?
