How The Next 90 Days Can Change Your Life... Get Pregnant And Lose The Stress...
Although there is no real lab tests or evidence that identifies one position is any more effective than the next, I’m going to discuss some theories that make a lot of sense to those trying to understand what type of sex is best to become pregnant. The paramount thing you can do to help the ying and yang of getting pregnant to meet up, is to make sure your husband ejaculates as close to your cervix (or neck of the uterus) as possible. Making the little guys (the sperm, not your fully formed baby ;) ) journey as short as possible ensures he will have plenty of strength left to get the job done. The best position by far to get you partner as close to your cervix as possible is undoubtedly, what most people would refer to as “doggy-style”. Without going into too many details here, it involves you on your hands and knees, with your partner entering from behind. Others claim that the missionary position is best, with a pillow placed under you behind, raising your hips. The theory behind this is that the entrance to your cervix leads downhill when your hips are raised about your stomach, and gravity will do the rest. This is often times referred to as the post-coital tilt. I say why not combine the two? The whole gravity thing makes perfect sense as it will aid the sperm on its journey, my suggestion; Try out the aforementioned, “doggy-style” position,(More info on that here: http://www.getpregnantmum.com/?page_id=14) and after finishing, lie on your back with a pillow under your hips. The best of both theories correct? Now the industry does advertise “infertility pillows” to go under your hips, but honestly I don’t think it’s necessary to spend the money on those. I also should mention the role of the female orgasm in relation to proper intercourse for getting pregnant. While it is by no means necessary, merely an added benefit, many feel the muscle tightening (contractions) that take place when having an orgasm help the sperm move along its journey to the promise land. This hasn’t been scientifically proven, but yet again, it makes perfect sense to me. If you have trouble achieving orgasm, the ever relevant kegel muscle comes in play here, so be sure to do your exercises. Last, to tie it all up, you must use your common sense, and in all truth there is no reason not to at least try these sexual and pregnancy tips. My final words to you; please relax, time your sexual rendezvous as close to the egg’s arrival in your uterus as possible and lastly have a good time doing it, as once that little guy/gal arrives these times will be few and far between.
