It is very common for men to have difficulty approaching women especially the ones they consider attractive. Whether it is because they are shy, nervous, out of their element (comfort zone) or anything else, most men at some time have issues approaching women .But with a little work before hand, and some confidence you will quickly be able to approach women with ease.
The first and most important thing you absolutely have to do is to be confident and remember that women, no matter where and when are people just like you. You have to be able to approach them as such, no matter how good looking she might be. It is best to be happy and comfortable with who you are and where you are in life before you go about approaching women. If you aren't you certainly won't feel confident approaching someone new.
The next tip to follow is when you approach a woman do so as if you are looking to get to know the person she is. Don't use pick up lines, women are so conditioned against them anyways it won't help you at all. She could be the most beautiful woman alive, but if she is rude and does not treat you well, that won't matter. So approach her with an air of trying to see if she is compatible with who you are.
You might find it difficult to start a conversation with a woman who you think is better looking than you, or just very good looking. You just might have no idea what in the world to say to such a beautiful creature. So, let's work on that.
Think about your surroundings. Are you in a store, if so, what kind? If it is a book store you could mention something about the book she is looking at, or ask her if she knows where a section of the bookstore is. Usually once you crack the ice it is a lot easier to continue talking. Even if she tells you right away where that section is you might act like you don't know where that is, or ask her to help you find a certain book in that section the way she responds would tell you whether she is open to talking to you. There are many options, so use them.
One last tip is it is usually easier to approach a woman who is by herself, instead of with a group, not only is it easier on you, but it is just easier to get her talking when she isn't already with a bunch of friends who are doing that. So, give it a shot, you will never know what can happen, unless you do.
