How To Cruise Through A Cruise

In my opinion cruises are the best way to travel. You get treated like royalty by being waited on hand and foot and then to top that off you get to stop and different stops instead of just one place.

When you get off the boat and you have to fend for yourself with the taxi or in the airport it snaps you back into reality quite quickly.

There’s honestly nothing better than being out at sea and watching the dolphins chase the boat or being surrounded by beautiful scenery or eating every single minute of the day if you prefer.

Even working out in the gym at sea is a million times better than doing it in a hotel room or some gym on land.

The thing is that if you are not an experienced cruiser you could be wasting money and wasting time that you are not aware of.

1. First there are ways to get the lowest possible cruise fare and free upgrades on your cruise and who wouldn’t want to take advantage of that? Plus you can save money on the shore excursions that you will want to be a part of. “Cruisetips.com” can help you out with that.

2. Second you want to pack for the cruise you are going for properly. A lot of people end up brining stuff they don’t need or forgetting stuff that they do need.

Depending on the cruise you need to bring the right stuff for your room, your entertainment, and your shore excursions. Make sure you have your cruise checklist out and handy for at least a week before your cruise. This way you will leave nothing behind and not have to buy tons of stuff from the cruise store which can get pretty expensive after a while.

3. Make sure you prepare for the language barrier. I’ve been ripped off by cab drivers by not knowing what they are saying and there’s nothing that puts a bigger damper on your fun when you’re not sure if people are laughing at you or with you.

4. Find out about the places you are going before hand.

If you are going a Caribbean cruise and you’re stopping in Roatan then make sure you know where in Roatan your ship will be pulling in and where the stuff you want to see is located compared to that.

The people that live in these places will be prepared for you not being prepared and they will try to get every dime you have for their help. This is a lot of them do on these small Islands for a living.

There’s nothing worse than getting off the relaxing boat, walking into paradise, getting yelled at by lots of people to come over to them, and not being sure where to run away to.

Cruises are relaxing and fun and if you do your preparation beforehand than all you have to do is sit back, drink your pina coloda by the pool, and wait for your next stop.
