How To Deal With New Spots

No one wants to wake up in the morning to be faced by a new spot, but this is something that is happening to lots of people on a daily basis. It does not matter if you are an adult or a teenager, spots are a fact of life and there is not that much you can do to stop them from making an appearance.

There are a lot of emotions when spots appear and one of the first instincts is to want to squeeze the spots that you currently have, hoping that this will release the bacteria from within it and making it go away just a bit more quickly than normal. This can be very tempting especially if you have an important event such as a date or an interview, and clearly you want to make a positive impression.

But as you are probably well aware this is one of the worse things that you can do to your spots and this can actually make them much worse and also even bigger. There are of course many positive things that you can be doing in order to help treat your spots and there will be no need to resort to picking or squeezing.

The first thing that you will want to be doing is to ensure that you are keeping your skin as clean as possible. If you are currently suffering from oily skin then getting spots could be a consequence and so you will want to be able to find products that will not just help to remove the spot but will also help to control the excess oils that are being produced.

Take care when you are selecting the products that you will be using because it is important not just to treat the symptoms of the spots but you will also want to be thinking more long term and to be able to effectively treat the actual cause of you developing spots. This is a plan that you need to consider if you want to have a face that is permanently clear of spots or any other types of blemishes.

So it has been mentioned that you need to keep your skin clean, so you need to find something that is going to be anti bacterial, yet at the same time is going to clean your skin without it becoming too dry. You also want to be applying an effective lotion to the affected areas that will work to help kill off any bacteria that exists in the skin and to also reduce any swelling.

If you are not too sure what to use, you can always resort to using tea tree oil, as this is one of the most powerful natural antiseptics that are available. It might be the case that you may need to dilute it, because it just might be too strong if it is used neat.

Simply take some cotton wool and apply some tea tree oil and apply to the affected areas of the skin. There is no need to apply to areas that are not affected, and depending on the severity of the spots you should notice a difference in just a few days.
