How To Evolve Into A Successful Enterpriser
Find like minded people to hang with and you will see your spirits and money both grow. Planning is essential to success and as the old saying goes, nobody plans to fail but most people fail to plan. Don't just completely shoot from the hip. Instead have at least a loose outline of what you want to accomplish. Nobody else is going to hold you accountable to your goals and aspirations so get accustomed to doing it yourself. Try writing down your goals to accomplish every day and checking them off as you go. Don't go to sleep at night until you have given 100% effort to accomplish everything on your list.. Think about your product or service in terms of what society needs. If you don't know how it will benefit others than you don't know how to sell it and like it or not, you will have to sell it. If you want to be an entrepreneur than stay away from MBA programs. I know from first hand experience they are a waste of time for what your trying to accomplish.. Find a proven mentor that will help to push you to success. He or she doesn't have to be an absolute rock star but they need to have some success and they need to understand what it takes to succeed, otherwise they will be of no benefit to you.. Focus on the good not the bad. There is going to be an awful lot of bumps in the road along the way and you just have to keep smiling and understand that every bump is a learning experience then move on.. Create a vision that projects 4 - 8 years out. What will you be doing? Will you have employees? Will you be giving to charity? You are a walking billboard for yourself whether it is in person or online. Make sure you are constantly branding yourself in a positive light.. Plan less and act more. Yes you should have a plan but you have to know when to stop planning and start acting because you'll never be able to see all of the obstacles that will come your way. Spend time researching everything you can that has to do with your field. Dedicate 20 - 30 minutes every single day to this.. A large percentage of anything you try to do has already been done by someone else. Pay attention to what has worked and what hasn't worked for others.. Talk yourself, your company, your business, your services, and your ideas up. Let people know there is an issue and you have the answer.
