So I’m here to reveal the keys to selecting a solid home business, one that you can be proud of and also earn a comfortable to substantial living at right from the comfort of your own home or anywhere else you choose. The keys to a true home business versus the scam are now revealed! 1. How does the compensation plan work and how the money flows? Before you buy into any program or business make sure you understand how the money flows and continues to flow. Really look at the compensation plan and understand it. Ask questions of your sponsor to make sure you understand the money side of the business. It is crucial you understand how the company will make money, how you will make money, how your sponsor will make money, and how your new team members will make money. Do not start your business until you really understand the compensation plan all around. A scammer will skirt around the issue of the compensation plan and they will just tell you all the money you can make, do not fall for this tactic. 2. Why will your sponsor assist you immediately and long term? Before you start any home based business consider your short term and long term training needs. You must understand what you can expect from your sponsor. Talk with your sponsor directly to understand their goals and commitment to you. They must be easily reachable and willing to share. Also understand why your sponsor will help you. The fact is the compensation plan must reward them for continually helping you. If the compensation plan doesn’t reward them, they have no incentive to continue to help you and no matter how wonderful your sponsor is as a person at some point you will become their competition and they will stop helping you. Refer to item number one above, understand the compensation plan. Scammers will play the good cop role and tell you they will always be there for you, this is bull. As soon as they stop making money off of you they will leave you and never answer your call again. 3. Who is the Business Owner? Should you look at being a distributor, associate, or affiliate of a larger corporation make sure you can easily find out who owns the business (then Google them!). Find where their headquarters are located, and have a phone number readily available should you wish to speak with a corporate representative. There are many companies out there that are being run from some back alley in a foreign land where nobody can find it and nobody can find out who is actually running the corporation. Don’t let fancy websites fool you, a website can be put together in less than an hour by a middle school child. Do your due diligence, this doesn‘t take days or weeks, if you get focused it can be a matter of minutes. Understand the company vision, owner‘s background, compensation plan, and products before you purchase and make sure they aligns with your goals and moral fiber. If someone pressures you into making a buy decision right now, that is a sign to turn and run as they are only focused on their success not your success. Scammers frequently put pressure on you to buy right now, before you find out they are scammers. Realize if it is a good deal today it will be a good deal tomorrow, however make a timely and informed decision do not just procrastinate. 4. Do you want a home business or second shift business? Determine if the business can in fact be run from your home or will it require driving to hotel meetings, or parties, or doing scheduled presentations.
