How To Liven Up A Cheap Frozen Pizza

Are you craving pizza but your money's a little tight? If so, there are some simple ways that you can save and still enjoy a high quality pie. You can buy a frozen pizza from your grocery store for a couple of dollars and turn it into a gourmet masterpiece, even if your cooking skills stink. Here are some ways to do it.

Add More Cheese

While you're at the store, go cheese shopping. Simple sliced or grated mozzarella cheese added to your pie will make it more flavorful. If you really want to get creative, make your own unique blended cheese by buying some cheddar, provolone, parmesan, Romano or jack.

If your budget's really tight, just throw on some leftover cheese that you've got at home. Even those bright orange slices of processed American cheese will liven up the flavor of your frozen pie quite a bit.

Toss A Few Eggs On It

The fact that it was a frozen pie won't affect the taste at all.

You can always buy a regular cheese pizza and just add everything you want yourself. As long as it's a brand where the crust bakes up crispy, you'll be alright. Usually, the toppings are what stink the most about frozen pizzas anyway. Get creative with fresh vegetables, herbs, meats and any wild idea you have for your toppings.
