How To Make Your New Years Resolutions Come True By....blogging?

When most people think of blogging, what comes to mind is usually basic information that's not particularly interesting or beneficial. But there's a lot more to blogging than just the basics.

The best time to learn about blogging is before you're in the thick of things. Wise readers will keep reading to earn some valuable blogging experience while it's still free.

Are you like most people who make New Year's resolutions every year only to see them fall apart by the end of the first month of the new year? Would you like to change that? Maybe you're really determined to lose weight, stop smoking, get out of debt, or even start a new business?

If so, there is one simple step that you can take to improve your chances of seeing success this New Year. What is that step?

Creating a blog.

A blog?

Yes, a blog.

Just in case you've been living on some remote island somewhere away from modern civilization a blog is basically a website that is arranged in chronological order. A writer or blogger, writes about a particular subject and each new post appears at the top of the page.

Now you may be wondering how a blog could help you turn your New Year's resolution into a reality. Well when you write a blog post, it is published on the internet. You and others can see it. Think of it is as writing your New Year's resolution on your computer rather than on a piece of paper. You do more than just say "I want to lose weight," or "I want to make more money next year." When goals are written, we are more likely to remember and accomplish them.

A blog is free and as I previously stated, similar to a website. Aside from the fact that updates appear in chronological order, the only difference is the price. Unlike with creating a website, you don't have to pay a web hosting fee. You can start a blog for free at these sites: Blogger.com, Journalhub.com, Aeonity.com, Ebloggy.com.

If you are unfamiliar with the internet, websites, and blogs, you may automatically think it is something you cannot do. Please don't make that mistake. It's really easy. You can do it!

Creating a blog involves using templates, which mean that you do little to no work. All you do is click on the link to make a post, write, and hit the publish button. It is as easy as that.

A blog allows you to track your progress. You can post updates when blogging about your New Year's resolution. These updates will appear in chronological order. This makes it easy for you and others to track your progress. Do you want to see how your new business is coming along? Just go back and read a few of your first posts. Compare your words and sales to see if you are on-track to meet your New Year's resolution of losing weight or making more money.

You may receive positive feedback from others. Unless you make your blog private, it will be searchable. This of course means that other internet users will be able to view your blog and read about your New Year's resolution. Initially that might be something you don't want, but it can work to your advantage. You may receive positive feedback from others, encouragement, and helpful tips. If you're running a new business as your New Year's resolution, maybe some of those viewers could end up as customers or business partners.

Many people are surprised to learn you can make money with a blog while making a New Year's resolution come to fruition. An easy way to get started making money is to apply to Google AdSense. If your blog is approved, you can place advertisements on your blog. Each time an advertisement is clicked, you make money. This is perfect if your New Year's resolution is to get out of debt by making more money.

As you can see, If you are looking for a source of motivation to make your New Year's resolution a reality this time, starting a blog is the way to go.

So now you know a little bit about blogging. Even if you don't know everything, you've done something worthwhile: you've expanded your knowledge.
