How To Really Pimp Out Your Cell Phone

Thinking about new and different ways to customize your cell phone to make it more personalized? Well, there are many ways to do so, but the best way is to get special ringtones.

Most likely your mobile phone already has a half dozen or more ringtones included. All you have to do is go into the settings page on your phone and choose a ringtone. Unfortunately, the included rings are usually either just the sound of a phone ringing at different pitches or a few boring, cheesy little songs that sound like a kid’s toy.

If you really want to pimp out your cell phone, there are many ringtones available online. It is also very likely that your cell phone will allow you to purchase ringtones directly on the phone itself. There are even websites that let you purchase ringtones and then download them to your phone. A ringtone does not have to be the sound of a phone ringing. That’s so 20th Century.

Here in the 21st Century, it’s all the rage to have your favorite song play on your mobile phone, instead of the annoying sound of a phone ringing. Well, that’s subjective, of course, since some people would find hearing the same song play every time the phone rings more annoying that an actual ringing sound.

At any rate, if you love music, there is a good chance your favorite song is available as a ringtone! And ringtones don’t cost that much, so it’s worth buying at least one. If you have the money, you could get a dozen ringtones or more, and use a different one each day.

The nice thing about having a variety of ringtones in your cell phone is that you can select what ring you hear when certain people call. If you have someone that you like to talk to often, you might want their ring to be a cool one. However, if you have one or more people that you don’t want to talk to, especially if you’re busy, most phones (again) allow you to set a particular ringtone to those people.
