How To Shave Your Head
I've been shaving my head off and on for the last few years and here is my preferred method, learned via somewhat painful trial and error! 1. First, trim your hair as close as possible. You might use a "buzzer," although I recommend a trip to the barber for first timers. 2. Take a shower to wet and fully moisturize your scalp 3. Apply your favorite shaving cream or gel to your entire scalp, even any bald parts. I prefer "Trol" brand, although it's hard to find these days. Massage the cream or gel into your scalp for a couple of minutes minimum. 4. Shave just like you shave your face. Shave with the grain, and try to pass over each area only once. Short even strokes without much pressure tend to avoid nicks and scratches. 5. You're going to learn over time how to best shave your scalp as each head differs phrenologically. You'll learn the bumps, grooves, and other peculiarities of your head over time and head shaving will become easier. 6. When done, rinse well. You may want to apply your normal facial post shave lotion or cream to your scalp as well. Take good care of your newly bald head. You'll need a hat and perhaps sunscreen. Your scalp may have never seen the sun before and may sunburn in mere minutes otherwise. Also, it may get cold easily. I slept with a hat the first few nights even though it was summer. Enjoy your new look! Women will notice, and some will love it. Give yourself at least a couple of months to decide whether a shaved head is for you. It's a popular look, very convenient, but not for everyone. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com And for more details visit How To Shave Your Head.
