How To Speed Up My Pc

With hi speed internet everywhere, people do not have time to wait on their slow computer. They want things done right away. So, here are a few things I did to speed up my pc.

I ran the defragmenter

When you store stuff on your hard drive, the computer just puts your files into the first open areas it finds. Even if the file does not fit, it breaks, or fragments, the file to part of it will fit in there. The problem here is when you go to launch the file, the computer must go and find all of the parts and put it back together. A defragmenter can help put these together on a regular basis.

Max out your computer memory

Before your computer does anything, it brings the files into the memory first. So, it makes sense that the larger memory you have the more programs you can bring in there at one time. And, with memory being so cheap, it is best to max the amount of memory you have in your computer.

Use registry repair tool

This is one of those areas most people do not really think about. Probably, because they have never even heard of the registry. And, if you have, you have no idea how to get there, which is a good thing because you can really mess things up in here. This is the area that tells the computer how to operate. It gives the programs specific instructions on how to do stuff. You can imagine if this area is messed up what would happen. The computer would be looking for stuff in the wrong places, which would cause it to be extremely slow. A registry repair tool can fix this.

Just the way Windows operates, you will get errors. This is why it is important to use a registry repair tool on a weekly basis to clean all of this up. This will ensure your computer will stay as fast as possible.

When used in combination, these things above definitely gave me my answer how to speed up my pc.
