How To Use An Espresso Coffee Maker

The espresso coffee maker is becoming a popular addition to the home kitchen due to the relative affordability these days, and the amazing tasting coffee that the espresso machine can produce.

You also need to find an espresso coffee maker that fits in with the décor of your kitchen, and your color scheme. Tips to using an espresso coffee maker
Before you make an espresso coffee, you need to get a few things. You will need espresso coffee beans, a coffee bean grinder, and water. It is recommended that you use filtered water to protect the machine. Bottled water is not recommended as spring water contains minerals that causes scaling and over time this can damage your coffee maker.

The first thing to do when making an espresso coffee is to warm up the espresso maker by running some water through the machine, before making your coffee.

Then, fill the water chamber with cold filtered water. When you brought your espresso coffee maker you will have got instructions and specifications in the packaging. This will include instructions on how much water is required to produce different amounts of coffee, normally measured by cups. So, add as much water as you need for the number of cups you want to make.

Next, grind the coffee beans. To get the best tasting espresso, grind the beans as fine as you can. Add the beans to the brew head, also known as the coffee basket. Use the tool that comes with the machine to squash the coffee beans into the brew head. Tap the sides of the brew head so that any loose coffee grinds fall into the brew head and re-squash the grind. This is important to ensure that the seal is complete when you attach the brew head to the espresso coffee maker.

Place the coffee cup under the outlet spout and press the start button on the machine. The espresso will pour into the cup. Look at the coffee you have made. It should be dark at the bottom and lighter at the top. If that’s what it looks like, you have made a top tasting espresso coffee. Enjoy!
