How To Use An Mp3 Player In Your Car

Well, there are a number of ways to connect your mp3 player to your car. Some easier then others, some more efficient. Some methods offer better sound quality, while others may seem to lack. One of the easiest and best ways to use your mp3 player in your car, is to plug in a 3.5mm jack, into your mp3 player, to your car stereo. This method offers you the easiest and best sounding way out of all the methods that there are. Instead of plugging in headphones, you plug in the same type of cord that comes out of your car stereo, very simple. Then you would simply set your car stereo to play the auxiliary channel, and then you have digital quality music blasting out of your car speakers, which can prove to be much more enjoyable then listening through headphones.

Of course, not all car stereos have an auxiliary input, so this option would then not be available. In this case, your car stereo might have RCA inputs in the back. If so, then you would simply need a cable which lets you plug in your mp3 player into the RCA inputs of your car stereo. While this method may be a bit more costly, it would still offer the same high quality sound reproduction as the first method.

Alas, your car stereo may not have either of these inputs, and than what would you do? Well, you could always replace you car stereo altogether, but who really wants to go through all that trouble? So your best bet in this predicament, would be to buy an mp3 to radio converter. This handy little device, will allow you to plug your mp3 player into a small device, which has an internal antennae. Afterwards, you set the frequency on the device to whatever radio station you want to use to receive the music from your mp3 player. Then you set your car stereo's radio station to the frequency that you set on the device, and just like that, you are broadcasting music from your mp3 player, to your car stereo. This method can sometimes be a pain, as interference can affect the sound quality greatly. But it is usually a cheaper alternative to replacing your entire stereo.
