How To Use Hair Straighteners

Our look is a very important part of who we are. When we look good we feel good regardless of the context. This is why the cosmetic industry has started to flourish and now we have all sorts of beauty products on the market. Hair is also a very important part of our appearance and we should always be careful and take care of it the best that we can. No matter how hard we work and how tiered we are, out hair should always be clean. Not having time is definitely not an excuse.

When you have wavy or curly hair though, things might get a bit more complicated. If you are tiered of your curly hair and you just need something different for your locks then the best thing that you can do is to start using a hair strightener. The process is definitely not hard and you will surely find out everything you need in the description below.

You should wash your hair with a shampoo just like you normally do and then use a conditioner. Once the wash, rinse, condition process is over you simply need to let your hair dry out naturally or you can use the blow dryer. If you decide on the latter you should comb your hair with a brush while you are blow drying. This way you will get rid of some of the waves and the curliness. The blow dryer should not be placed too close to the hair because you risk damaging it. Also, you could use some heat protection serum if you want to be positively sure that you are not going to harm your hair in any way.

If you have long hair and brushing it while blow drying is something that you cannot simply handle, then you should definitely try to comb your hair into four sections. This way you can be sure that you do everything perfect. You should have two sections in the back and two sections in the front. Use clips to secure the hair in order to make sure that one part doesn’t get in the way while you are taking care of the other part. The hair straighter should be hot when you start using it. This is why you could turn it on a little bit in advance.

The heat protecting serum or spray should not be missing when you are straightening your hair. However when you choose them you should make sure that they are light and that won’t make your hair oily from the very next day. Thermal products are very important, especially if you plan on styling your hair every day. Use the hot iron until all your hair is straight. Once you are done you should make sure that you comb your hair thoroughly and start styling as you wish.
