How To Write An Article In 10 Minutes
1:00 – Outline Your Article The first step is to think of your topic. Take the keyword and see if something springs to mind. The best marketing articles answer the reader’s question or solve their problem. You can find ideas for questions on question and answer sites like Yahoo Answers. The outline should consist of a problem, 3 tips or partial solutions, and a conclusion that serves as a “call to action.” 1:00 – Work On Your Title And Subtitle The title should take some time. Why? Because this is the first thing they’ll see. It’s got to stand out from all the others, be unique and also give them an accurate idea of what the article will do for them. Notice I didn’t say “tell them” – It’s got to DO something. 2:00 – Research This is where lots of people get hung up. The important thing is to find the key information that you need and avoid stuff that doesn’t help. I usually do one search for each of my 3 points. If you put your search in the form of a question, like “What foods should diabetics avoid,” you will often get just the info you’re looking for. 5:00 – Type Like The Wind Now, starting at the top, type away like a crazy person. Write in a conversational tone and pretend that you’re talking to a friend, giving them advice. Enlarge on each of your outline’s points and explain to the reader how this helps them. I sometimes start by writing my 3 points, and then do the intro at the end. 1:00 – The Quick Skim-Over It’s important to proofread what you wrote just in case there are any silly mistakes. I go over it quickly, not soaking in each word but just skimming over it looking for any awkward wording. Of course, I then run it through spellcheck in case I’ve missed anything. One huge tip on speed writing – If you’re distracted or not into writing right now, stop. There’s no way you can write fast when you’re not focused on the task at hand. I’m an article ghost writer who sometimes completes 3 orders in a day, and that’s how I do it. If you can pick up your speed, you’ll be making more money per hour for your hard work. When you start implementing these techniques, it may go a little slowly at first, but once you’ve got it down, you’ll be shooting out one article every 10 minutes – or even less!
