How To Write Articles That Hypnotize
-Quotes. The readers will treat your quotes as almost a story. As they process the quotes in their minds, they will become open and relax thus they will be receptive to the context of the quotation. When you quote someone else, you get to speak to the reader’s subconscious and make instant connection. -Storytelling. In pre- printing press era, storytelling was the main source of entertainment and a way to pass on information to the next generation. When you include stories in your articles you get the reader to instantly be a in “story mode”. You can use stories to immediately grab your reader’s attention, invite people to relax and let their defenses or guard down. You can use it as an analogy when trying to illustrate a point, know and see other people’s point of view or even up to a point to induce trance if you have skillfully master storytelling. -Use language patterns. There are certain questions and phrases that will involve the reader and let them know you acknowledge whatever they are feeling or experiencing presently. By letting them know, you will establish rapport and build a connection. This is a powerful form of language. The questions and phrases may seem very ordinary but they direct a person’s mind in a certain direction. Don’t you agree with me? Pepper your articles with these questions and phrases. Take note of the pattern so you can use it creatively. Examples: "What happens when you imagine being able to….." " You may already have started to become aware…" "How would it feel if you could…" "Wouldn’t it be amazing if…" "I’m sure you heard…" "I have a confession to make…" "If you’re like me…" "You might be thinking…" I suggest you collect stories that have emotional impact so you can start to include them within your articles. And as you involve your reader by using quotes , questions and phrases you will positively persuade your readers. Go grab your notepad or sit in front of your monitor, ready? Get set, write!
