I had a white couch that got dirty over time. Anything that is white is going to show dirt, but the problem was that I couldn't get the dirt off of it. No amount of shampooing would get it out and I thought that I would be stuck with this until I could afford to buy a new one. Well, I learned about slipcovers. This is like a mask or glove that is designed for furniture. It fits tightly over the couch, which holds onto the shape of it, but changes the design on the outside. This was my way to have a nice new looking couch, which was really dirty.
The interesting thing about slipcovers is that there is practically a design for just about anything. You can get the type of design that you want and change it at whim. If you feel like a modern look, you just put on the cover. If you decide you want something traditional you just take it off and put on another one.
