How A Dead Guy Can Change Your Life

Wallace D. Wattles was an American author and best known for his success with “The Science of Getting Rich” written in 1910. He was one of the first success and self-development writers. He personally tested his own theories and did become rich.

In the second chapter titled “There is a Science of Getting Rich”, Mr. Wattles states, “There is a science of getting rich. It is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches. Once a person learns and obeys these laws, he will get rich with mathematical certainly.”

Mr. Wattles’ book is an inspiration to anyone struggling to figure out how to get out of their current circumstances. He clearly explains how the mind works and that everything comes to you due to the result of doing things in a certain way. Whether you do this on purpose or by accident, you can get rich. Anyone can do this as long as you understand that it is an exact science.

Have you ever wondered how in the world the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer? He states in his book that it doesn’t matter where you live. If that were the case, people that lived in a certain area would become wealthy. There are rich and poor people that live in the same environment and even engage in the same vocation. This just reiterates his statement that getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way.

The movie, “The Secret” was based on Mr. Wattles’ book and it has helped others understand that in order to get what you want out of this life, you just need to open your mind to doing things in a different way. Anything is possible if you just realize that you too can have anything your heart desires. Getting rich is an exact science and as soon as you learn this, your life will never be the same.

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a community that teaches straight from Mr. Wattles’ book. As we have learned, in order to be successful, you need to grow your mind, think outside the box and do things differently. If you keep doing what you are currently doing, you will continue to get what you have always gotten. Sound familiar?

Always remember that anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
