How The Forgotten Law Of Thinking Be Used To Cure Procrastination?

In contrary to general understanding, our thought is one of the most powerful forms of energy available to us. You may not see it or feel it sometimes but it is the source of all your actions whether these actions are conscious-registered or not. Confusing? It is confusing for many that do not understand the law of thinking. I do not mean that your action do not follows your thought or you are a zombie. There are thoughts that are running under your nose; 90% of the time this category went by without you registering it. Frightening? The more frightening thing is that a lot of our habitual action or behavior (e.g. procrastination, lighting up your next cigarette, sinking your teeth into yet another mega buffet, uncontrollable anger, greed, fear etc) are the direct result of these thoughts. They are usually lightning fast and deadly accurate regardless of how it all started and how it will end. Once it is triggered, they will run its course unless it is properly intervened. They are the thoughts within your subconscious.

What is the law of thinking?

The law of thinking as coined by Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey in the 11 Forgotten laws actually mean your subconscious. How subconscious thoughts come about? For one simple fact is that life is too complex for us as there are too many things happening to us at any single time. For example, waking up in the morning and going through the usual morning freshen up routine before your breakfast, what will you do? Brush your teeth, wash your face (forget about those times where you are changing your facial cleanser), take a bath, change to a new set of attires... In the morning you will usually go through that usual routine that your mind basically call it "freshen up" and pretty much set you up for the day. Pretty simple and easy right? Wrong! Just imagine without the work of the subconscious thought working behind all those process and you got to consciously work through every single task required to get yourself freshen up just like your 2 years old kids learning to brush their teeth, be reminded to go "pee pee" before they wet their pants again etc. If human do not have that mechanism to put stuffs that we usually do every day to auto pilot mode, we will probably get tired after our morning freshen up, less to talk about working our butts out in our day job. It is nice to know that so much can be taken care by years of pre-conditioning and as we grow we are also conditioning ourselves for the upcoming future. According to the law of thinking, it is this subconscious thoughts that basically shape the person you are now, the status you enjoy now, the money that you can have now and whether you are successful in life or not. It will probably shape your future too. If you are not happy with what you are now or where you are now probably that is something to do with your pre-conditioned subconscious thought in action every single moment of your being. Fortunately that do not have to be the way forever, your subconscious thought can be unconditioned and new thoughts can be set fore. The unpleasant part is that you need to work for it and Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey have some powerful and doable ways that you may wanted to leverage on.

To answer the question in this article, procrastination has become part of your subconscious mind through the years of hesitation to assume responsibilities. The reason is simple, human love to take the path of lowest resistant or least hard work. Over the years by taking the easy way out, it has already etched nicely on your subconscious mind just like your "morning freshen up" that you learn from childhood.
