How To Build A Muscle Body

Want to know how to build a muscle and finally not have to tell people that you lift weights? Read this article to find out how and start getting the results you deserve.

Muscle building is a fairly simple process, but that is not to say that it is easy. You need to work hard to build muscle and put the effort in. One of the biggest problems people often make is not the effort they put in, but where they focus their efforts.

I'm going to tell you the fundamental rules on how to build a muscle and how you should focus your efforts on these.

Muscle Building Training

Muscle building training is probably the most obvious solution to pack on muscle mass. What is important to focus on is having a good workout program which workouts the entire body. Don't just focus on the mirror muscles. Working the legs will elevate hormones such as testosterone and growth hormone, meaning your upper body will get bigger as well.

Your muscle building routine also needs to have variations such as changing the set and rep schemes to avoid muscle adaptation. Also muscle growth does not occur in a constant fashion so you need to perform different phases which work on building strength or muscle.

Muscle Building Nutrition

When people want to know how to build a muscle they always go for the obvious working out solution. Of course training will provide a stimulus for muscle to grow, but you also need vital nutrients to feed that growth. Protein is a must as it is an essential building block of muscle; behind water, your muscle is mostly made up of protein.

Carbohydrates are also very important as they provide energy to your muscles and help turn your body into an anabolic state. Fats are usually frowned upon but are essential to the muscle building process. This does not mean to wolf down junk food, but get your essential fatty acids from healthy sources such as fish, olive oil, nuts etc.

Rest

What you have to realise is that your muscles grow stronger and bigger after you have exercised them and feed them the proper nutrients. Your body also needs rest to focus on repairing the damaged caused by training. This includes getting 8 hours sleep every night as this is when most recovery and muscle building takes place. You also want to keep your stress levels down as this can make your body burn muscle for fuel.

The next time you or a friend is wondering how to build a muscle body you need to remember these 3 crucial factors. They are like the legs of a stool; take one away and the other two will fail. Meaning the most important area to focus on is the one that is missing.

Focus on the 3 outlined cornerstones of muscle building first before worrying about whether you should do dumbbell curls or barbell curls. I guarantee you will start to put on muscle mass if you do.
