How To Build And Sell Your Ebook

Are you satisfied with your e-book sales? You are making some sales but you aren't making as much as you had hoped. Here are some you should know when you are running your own e-book business.

Firstly, you must have e-book with high quality. If you write your own e-book, you should have the idea for your e-book. Take a moment and decide which one you are most passionate about now. Focus on one great idea, then add others you know will work.

You need to find out what audience needs your book. You can create an audience profile and keep your audience's picture in front of you as you write.

Writing your sales letter before you write your book is a good idea. Think about your potential buyer. Your sales letter used to promote your book either by email or on your Web site needs to give the benefits your potential buyers want and need. Include compelling ad copy, features, testimonials, and a small blurb about you, the author. If your potential buyer likes it, they will buy on the spot.

If you do not write your own e-book, you need keep in mind that you should purchase the e-books with resell right. Resell rights is in essence, allowing your customer to purchase from you a license to resell the e-book. It is a great way to up-sell, but you have to be aware of certain things.

You cannot sell resell rights to e-books that are not yours or that you haven't been given master resell rights. In other words, if you wrote your own e-book, you can do what ever you want with it, but if you are selling someone else's e-book you can only do what the author has given you permission to do.
