Your affiliate program must have these things:

Its affiliate support should be supportive and it should respond quickly.
Quality Product – It should be a quality product that should be easy-to-sell. It must have a good converting sale page.
Pay Fair Commission – Your affiliate program should offer a fair commission on each sale. Personally, I’m not interested to promote a product which offers me less than 60% commission. Clickbank has plenty of good digital products. So why not choose a product that gives you more money for your effort.

Lifetime cookie - Some affiliate programs save your affiliate link on the cookies of your referrals’ computers. So, if you refer a person that return the merchant site without your affiliate like, then you will also get paid for his purchase.
Payment Frequency – You should take care of payment method and its frequency. Monthly payment method is good, but weekly payment even better. Also, take care of minimum payment threshold; it should be as low as possible.

Now here are some things that should not have your affiliate program:

Website are promoting unethical services.
It is making unrealistic promise about making money online.
Poor affiliate support and do not reply for your mails.
