How To Figure Out If You Should Buy A Zune Hd Or An Ipod Touch

Are you considering getting Apple's new iPod Touch for your main portable media player? If so, you might want to reconsider. This year, Microsoft unveiled a brand new Zune, the Zune HD 32 GB, which is now highly contending for Apple's number one spot with the iPod Touch. And it deserves it, too. With better graphics, sleeker design, user-friendly interface and better navigation, you might want to buy a Zune instead of buying an Apple iPod Touch.

1. Zune HD vs. Apple iPod Touch Screen Technology: The screen display on the Zune is way better than the iPod Touch. No doubt, Apple's baby looks great, but Zune's lustre, in addition to the easier navigability than Apple, makes it a great option for those wanting to watch movies in widescreen, browse the internet, and page through their photos.

2. Zune 4.0 Software vs. iTunes: Are you a fan of using iTunes software for absolutely every little change you want to make on your iPod? I certainly am not. I own a PC, not a Mac, and if you own an iPod, you know how much "fun" it is to make the two play together - they're fighting all the time.

But with Zune, you get to use a PC-compatible software that's for Zune, so you don't have to worry about using processor-hog clunkers like iTunes when you want to update your media.

3. Zune navigation with Quickplay shortcuts: One awesome feature of the Zune HD that I'm really pumped about is the Quickplay feature. You can navigate to your recently downloaded, listened to, and favorite music and movies without having to scroll forever.

With the Apple iPod Touch, you have to scroll forever to find the songs you just downloaded or added, but with the Zune HD, this is remedied, and you no longer have to spend your life scrolling on and on.
