How To Gain Self Confidence - Here's Two Top Tips To Get You Started!

So you want to know how to gain self confidence and start to enjoy all the benefits that self confidence can bring? Well first, let me ask you some questions:


...have you ever walked in a crowded place and told yourself "don't do anything stupid like trip up now" and felt yourself worry about what could go wrong in public...? ...do you often say something in the company of other people and, even though they didn't laugh at you or anything, you immediately felt yourself go red with embarrassment? ...have you ever avoided parties because you were worried you might not impress people there enough? ...have you ever tried using alcohol to make yourself feel more confident when surrounded by other people? ...have you ever kept yourself quiet for fear of saying something that might sound stupid? Or cause offence?

Well if you answered yes to any or all of these, then I fully understand how you feel. In fact, just six months ago, I had such a lack of self confidence that I didn't even want to get out of bed, let alone the house!

That was until I took on board the two following important tips:

1. Stop caring about what other people think of you. For me, at least 90% of the time these worries were not based on fact but were instead based on my own perception! 2. Try to think positively. Once I realised how negative my thoughts really were, I began to understand why I had such little confidence.

Once I fully accepted these tips, I began to feel a noticeable increase in my self confidence. I wouldn't say I'm the most confident person in the world, but I do now believe I'm on the right path.
