How To Get Strong Feminine Arms

If you are a woman, chances are you would like to tone up or build some sort of arm muscles without looking like a body builder. We have a habit of concentrating only on our lower body, but our arms have feelings, too. So, what does it take to achieve strong yet feminine looking arms? You will need to do more than just a few push ups to achieve this look. I am not an expert on this subject, but with some research I have found a few inspiring tips to help me on my quest as well as yours.

People definitely notice unattractive arms as well as toned, muscular ones which are always more appealing. The main focus should be on the biceps and triceps. The best biceps exercises are barbell curls, dumbbell curls, and preacher curls. You often see people doing dumbbell curls only using their biceps, but they are only going to get results by turning the pinky finger towards the outside of the shoulder when curling up.

The best tricep moves are the close grip bench press, dumbbell kick backs, tricep extensions, and press downs. Pushups only work the chest, shoulders and arms but the close grip pushup targets that flab on the insides of the arm. You can do these by placing your palms on the floor, shoulder distance apart directly under your shoulder. Place your toes or knees on the ground and push your body up, keeping it as straight as possible. Next, lower your body down slowly but don’t let it touch the ground. If you start by doing as many as possible you will definitely feel the burn the next day.

Within a 4-6 week time frame, add 3-4 sets of bicep and tricep moves onto your workout session or if you have time, add another workout day just concentrating on your arms. It is important to allow only about 45-60 seconds rest between sets to get the best results, no more or less. To shape up faster, try alternating between biceps and triceps to help prevent muscle fatigue. It will not happen overnight, but you should see results you are sure to be happy with.
