How To Guarantee Income For Life In Your Business

More and more people are attracted to the online business because they want to make more money. The thought of having residual income coming in for life is very enticing. People are so focused on making money but income is never guaranteed. There are problems in this industry as well. Companies goes out of business, they stop promoting their product or their commission structure changes. So how are you guaranteed income for life in your business?

You need to focus on people because this industry is about building relationships. You need to think long-term. You have probably heard the term by now that people join people. For instance, lets say that the business you joined two years prior has now gone out of business. If you have built enough solid relationships with your team members or leaders in the company, then they are more likely to listen to what you have to say when you join another opportunity. If they trust you and like you, they will more then likely follow you. This is how some of the really big marketers make their money online today. The people they have built relationships with follow them wherever they go. They trust them and know that they would not steer them in the wrong direction.

It's critical that you develop relationships with other marketers and leaders. Learn about other network marketers, how they got to where they are, how they market their product, what kind of relationships have they built over the years, etc. Don't try to sell them, just learn from them. Keep their information handy because you just never know what will happen in the years to come.

The only security you have in this business is you and the friends you have made. Whenever you have the opportunity to meet people, take the time to get to know them. Give them a chance to get to know you. Exchange business cards or contact information with people you come in contact with. Make a note of where you met them, etc. Remember that people join people. They prefer to join or follow someone that has their best interests at heart. You may have met someone six months prior and they are not making it in their business so they call you up and want to join yours. Or perhaps their company just went out of business. If you have taken the time to get to know someone, they will remember that you were extremely helpful and want to team up with you. Taking the time to get to know people will only benefit you in the long run.

Share information that you have found with people you have met. If you help them, they will help you. By exchanging information you can let them know that, from time to time you come across things that are helping your team on the internet. By giving me your business card or contact information, I would be happy to share that information with you as well. Become a giver and sharer of information.

Always keep a contact list of people you have met, that are in your company or that you want to stay connected with. We are in tough economic times and people want to make more money. They may decide that having an online business will be beneficial to them as well. If they do make that decision, you will be the first person they call to ask for help. Once again, people join people; think long-term.
