How To Include Children Into Your Wedding Day
So if you want to invite children to your wedding but are worried about them being mischieous and "ruining" your day then plan to include them in the proceedings in some way. Children would much rather be involved in the activities of the day than forced to find their own entertainment (i.e. mischief!). When designing a wedding day that will include children, try and: - Be mindful of the decor: don't use any decorations that children might eat or hurt themselves with. Remember small children out anything and everything in their mouths just to know what is tastes/feels like. - Why not have a small play area for the children to work their energy off in? - Include the children in the ceremony in some fashion. Small girls and boys can walk down the aisle with the couple to be married holding whatever you want, flowers, cushions, petals etc. They will love being involved in the ceremony. - If you have a small room with some snacks/juices etc then parents will love you for it. Just somewhere for the little ones to refuel and calm down before carrying on to the next activity of the day. It would be a shame if some of your guests with children could not attend your wedding because one had to look after the childrens so don't do that to your friends and family. Have a children-friendly wedding.
