How To Know Whether You Should Buy A Zune Or An Apple Ipod Touch

If you're an avid fan of the Apple iPod Touch or similar products, you're probably considering an upgrade to the newest models of the Apple iPod Touch, the 32 and 64 GB. But before you fork over that $300+, you might take a quick look at the Microsoft Zune HD. If you're a PC user especially, chances are you'll have better success with software compatibility if you buy a Zune.

Plus, there's better graphics, user-friendly navigation, high-definition movie extendability with HDTV and XBOX 360, so it's quite likely you'll get more for your buck out of a Zune HD than an Apple iPod Touch.

1. Zune's touch screen display: The Zune HD widescreen display comes with great 480 x 272 resolution, making it a great option for playing movies, browsing the internet in all its brilliance, and displaying album art while your music plays, in addition to viewing photos and short videos. It's better than Apple in many respects, because the navigation with the screen makes it so much easier to access your media.

2. Zune software compatibility: If you're not fond of being bound to iTunes for every little change you want to make on your media player, then the Zune HD is the player for you. It doesn't require iTunes; instead, it uses its own software, which happens to be (surprise!) Microsoft compatible, unlike iTunes.

3. Zune Quickplay navigation features: Instead of scrolling all your life with an iPod Touch from Apple, Microsoft allows you to create shortcuts on your Zune HD, which eliminates the need to scroll to find your favorite media recent playlists, and best content.

This is great for finding your recently downloaded songs and movies, shows, and other things you'd like to bring to the forefront of your media player rather than search for ages for.
