Then, decide what size it needs to be. Is it a purse or a tote? If you are going to keep it in a desk drawer at work, how much space will you have? What do you want to keep in it? Sometimes, a smaller handbag is better, since it will hold all your essentials without bogging you down with stuff you don’t need.

If you go shopping with friends, get some ideas from them. Even you can consult the opinion of the salesperson. If you aren’t sure what will best meet your needs, ask others for input.
