How To Take Better Digital Photos -digital Photography Tips

Are you struggling to take good photos? Stop! This article will show you how to take better digital photos in no time. First off, we are going to cover how to compose great shots that are beautiful.

Composing Photos 101
When you take a picture you need to pay attention to the way everything is oriented. Photography is NOT about seeing a great landscape and taking the shot of it. It’s about composing a great shot to look like a great landscape.

It’s funny, because I once was walking through some wildlife between some houses and I saw a cliff that extended downwards for some distance. I framed my photo so it looked just like the Grand Canyon. I bet nobody would’ve thought to take a picture of that. Especially since it was in a residential area.

Tip 1: Get Rid of that Junk
If you have a photo and there are branches sticking into the sides, random cars in the background, and clutter everywhere then you need to remove that stuff. Get to a higher location, zoom in, do whatever you possibly can to isolate on the main subject.

Tip 2: Keep It Simple
Sometimes the greatest shots are some of the simplest as well. Try to keep your photos simple. As with the tip above, get closer to simplify the image. If you are trying to photograph a tree but there’s too much clutter behind it then get to the floor and make the background the blue sky.

Tip 3: Take lots of shots.
Because you are photographing with digital, you have the ability to delete over and over again without spending money on film. Use this as an advantage.
