How To Be Happy

One of the biggest rules to follow in order to be happy is to laugh. Laughing is a definite prerequisite for happiness because when you laugh, you release endorphins which relieves stress and promotes a mental well-being. The released endorphins also relieves anxiety and sorrow. Laughing is a cheerful, spiritual exercise that plays an immense role in maintaining happiness. If you are ever feeling a bit depressed, fool yourself into thinking that everything contains a funny element. Put your in a humorous atmosphere and the level of depression will recede within seconds.

Another factor needed in order to be happy is to expect less. Our mind's expectations lead us to our ultimate downfall in our mission for happiness. Humans naturally expect that life tends to be near perfect, such as expecting things to be easy or thinking that your family life will be forever flawless. Well, expectations can be a cruel fixation of our minds. Just by expecting less, the level for happiness drops, setting happiness in an easier state to be acquired.

Yet another factor to keep in mind to be happy is to be grateful. If people could just realize all the good things that they have been given such as life and family, they will realize that happiness can be found in even the smallest of things. People of today's society tend to forget this main concept, ignoring the idea that someone has worked for the life they have been given and that it didn't just magically appear.

Last, clean up life. Regretful memories rebounding in your head are cumbersome and detrimental to your mental health. If you meant to sorry to someone, then go ahead and do it. Don't drag problems along with you.
