The main tool that I use initially to locate a good niche for an Adsense site is Micro Niche Finder. This tool is great because it gives you tons of options for keywords, and shows all kinds of information on them. Some examples of the information types are the number of searches per month, the number of results on Google, and the strength of the competition for that keyword. This information is extremely valuable for finding a good niche. There is one problem that I’ve noticed with Micro Niche Finder though, and that is that it is not always accurate. There have been a few occasions when I have bought a keyword domain because it looked great in the program, but then the data changed the next day and I found I wasted money. This is why I’ve learned to check this data against the data in the Adwords keyword tool. The Adwords keyword tool is somewhat similar to Micro Niche Finder except it is also not always that accurate. The benefit of using it is that you can compare its results against Micro Niche Finder’s results and then you can most likely determine if the domain will be alright to use. Checking keywords on both of these tools is absolutely essential, since I have heard of many people only checking one program and then unfortunately getting false information. It has happened to me a few times also. After you have verified with both programs that the data is good for a niche Adsense site, the next step is to buy a domain for that keyword. You will be lucky to get a .com domain if the keywords are very good, but it is definitely possible. If you do manage to get a .com, .net, or .org then you should be all set with a great niche keyword domain and you will be ready to create a small, but profitable site.
