Yes we know money is tight, but can you honestly cope with your old living room any longer, thought not!

Next the flooring, can you afford to carpet or lay some wood flooring? If not have you considered carpet tiles? They are extremely versatile and come in a wide range of colours and designs, many are also stain resistant great if you have kids or Pets.

Next look at your window dressings, are your blinds or curtains starting to look jaded, many on line shops sell a wide variety of ready made curtains and blinds, these start from as little as ten pounds and are perfect to give a window a new lease of life.

Accessories in a room, make all the difference and do not have to cost the earth either, scatter cushions look great, come in loads of colours and can be found online for under ten pounds. Vases can create a talking point, again there are plenty of on line stores that sell these at very reasonable prices.

So for your room, you have spent, thirty pounds on a throwover,about ten pounds on a mirror, fourty pounds on carpet tiles, twenty pounds on some new blinds and under fifteen pounds on accessories making a total of one hundred and fifteen pounds.
