How To Set Youtube Parental Control?

Many of you might be aware that YouTube have added a new feature called 'safety mode' to block inappropriate video results.When you opt into Safety Mode, videos containing objectionable material, or age restrictions will be automatically filtered out of the site's search results. If a user inputs a direct link to a mature video, Safety Mode will block viewing that video.Safety Mode on YouTube does not remove content from the site but rather keeps it off the page for users who opt in.Safety Mode isn't fool proof, but it provides a greater degree of control over your YouTube experience.
Some of the problems associated with YouTube's Safety Mode -

1.Safety mode is browser dependent.Means it will be enables on a particular browser or an a particular computer you set.

How to set parental control on youtube ?

Follow easy instructions below to access and turn on Safety Mode for you:
Here we will talk about two safety modes -
Safety Mode and Locked safety mode

Safety Mode On -

1. Click on Safety Mode at the bottom of every page to open the preference setting option.
2. Click On and Save to opt-in
3. You are now in Safety Mode!

To remove open preferences and Click off and Save.

Locked Safety Mode:

1. Sign In with your YouTube account
2. Click Safety Mode at the bottom of every page to open the preference setting .
3. Click On and Save and Lock to opt-in and lock this browser
4. You are now in Locked Safety Mode!

If you need to unlock safety mode then you requires YouTube password.

Few tips#
1. In case if you have two profiles each, you would have to lock your preference on each browser on each separate profile.

2. The ability to opt in to Safety Mode is available in all languages
