How To Unblock Any Website

When surfing the web you may frequently hit a very ugly wall. That is being blocked from viewing a certain website. You may encounter this while browsing from your office or from your school. From a public library or even in a pub.

And not just “bad” sites get blocked. You may be forbidden to surf on innocent sites like MySpace or YouTube. Maybe you frequently visit a forum. And now you find it banned. Some of your favorite sites may be filtered just due to their language content even if it's just a bit strong.

So there is only one thing to do when encountering such ugly situations. That is to learn how to unblock websites. But to learn this the first step is to understand how they are doing this to you. It's like when you want to build something. If you understand how others have built it and how it works, you will know how to do it too. And sometimes how to undo it.

Usually, the most common blockage is done through computer installed software. There is some software installed that runs along with your browser. That software will block or unblock content according to the administrator's settings and preferences. And according to the websites' content. To unblock this kind of filters just stop the program from the task manager.

Another kind of software that blocks your favorite website is a firewall. The firewall is not installed on your computer. But on the server which governs your network. You can bypass the firewall by accessing the server. Then you can simply access the firewall program and set you exceptions. This way no one will notice nothing. You must not deactivate the whole firewall. Because it's bad for you. What you have to do is tell the program to make an exception from the sites you want to visit.
